Protecting sensitive electronics begins with preparation. COM.SAR coordinates the mobile ESD workstation and cleaning methods with the equipment, site and operational requirements.
Integrate ESD precautions
Electrostatic discharge is addressed through site ESD arrangements. IEC 61340-5-1 concerns protection of electronic parts and assemblies from electrostatic phenomena. This does not imply certification of an entire site.
Use compressed air appropriately
Dehumidified, residue-free compressed air is used only for suitable components and tasks. Manufacturer requirements, component sensitivity and controlled removal of released particles determine the procedure.
Organise on-site equipment work
Space, access and equipment preparation are clarified beforehand. The mobile workstation supports agreed tasks; equipment approvals and testing remain separate.
Frequently asked
Is every device cleaned with compressed air?
No. We choose methods for the specific application. Dehumidified, residue-free compressed air is among our methods, but is not used indiscriminately on every component.
