COM.SAR cleans racks and IT equipment inside and out. We consider design, manufacturer requirements, access and the required scope. Different equipment types are identified individually.
Define equipment and internal access
Servers, switches, patch panels, control surfaces and other commissioned components are assigned an agreed cleaning depth. Opening, necessary disassembly and reassembly are explicitly coordinated.
Select suitable ESD precautions and methods
For suitable hardware tasks we use a mobile ESD workstation. Dehumidified, residue-free compressed air complements cleaning where appropriate. Pressure, distance and handling follow component and manufacturer requirements.
Clarify the operating state
Shutdowns, equipment preparation and handling connections are planned with your responsible teams. Cleaning is neither functional testing nor electrical approval.
